It has been a long time since our last post, and we have a lot of news to update you on!

First of all, our newest Swan Creek Candle Outlet Store in Leesburg, Florida has recently opened! So for those of you living in or visiting the central Florida area, come in and visit us! We are located at 707 West Main Street in downtown Leesburg, and we are open from 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Sundays. If you'd like, give us a call for directions or with any questions at 352-460-4372. We hope to see you there!

We have also recently added many new fragrances for the Fall and Holiday season. Some of these tempting new scents include Butterscotch Brulee, Vanilla Hazelnut Creme, Caramelized Pumpkin Seeds and Warm Caramel Apple, and all are just as yummy as they sound! We will also soon be adding our traditional Holiday Vintage Jars to order through our website, www.swancreekcandle.com, so look for those very soon.

Finally, Fall is in the air, which means Halloween is approaching!

We have some adorable Halloween gift sets that are going quickly, so get them before they're gone!

Many of you have been inquiring about bringing back some of our discontinued fragrances. We have decided to bring back some of the most requested of these fragrances in our 3" Frosted Glass Jars! Fragrances such as Apples & Gingersnaps, Cactus Pear Sorbeto, and Rain Mist will be back in these jars for a limited time only for just $5.99 each, so get them while you can! Please also let us know if there are any other fragrances you would like to see in these jars so that we can see about bringing these back as well!

Happy Halloween! It is getting to be very chilly here in Ohio, but it is certainly a beautiful time of year. We hope that you are enjoying it as much as we are!

We wanted to let you know that we will soon be receiving some gorgeous new pottery within the next week or so. Be sure to check back to our website to see this new pottery collection - especially if you are a fan of our Terra Vasa candles!

New Website!

As you may have noticed, we have recently made some changes to our website. Our hope is that the website will be easier to use as well as visually pleasing while still offering all of the same, as well as many new, products. We have also streamlined our checkout feature for a simpler checkout process that will still be run through Yahoo! Stores and completely secure.

Pure Vanilla Bean!

Hello Everyone! It is the start of a New Year, and so we will soon be getting some brand new products and even a couple of new fragrances! Look for these to be available in mid-late January.

We also have a new Fragrance of the Month - Pure Vanilla Bean. We have gotten some good feedback on this fragrance from a lot of you (thank you!). The fragrance is simply vanilla, which is light and clean in scent. We would recommend trying this scent!

I have been receiving a lot of emails lately on how happy many of you are that we have started to make tarts. These little wax discs are great to fill a room up with fragrance without using a flame, and they are incredibly easy to manage - when you are done using them, they pop right out of the melter. If you have used the Crumbie Melts in the past, you need to try these tarts and let us know what you think! We are thinking of creating a variety pack of tarts so that you might be able to try a few different fragrances. Please let me know if you have any suggestions for fragrances in a sampler pack.

I just wanted to remind everyone again that we are getting very close to the end of the month, and the end of the Tuscan Vineyards fragrance of the month! Get your Tuscan Vineyards candles now before its too late!

Dundee Meeting

I just came back from another manager's meeting at the Dundee Swan Creek Candle Outlet Store. The store looks fantastic - lots of new summer items! If you get a chance, I would certainly recommend visiting this store!

I also heard that, like many of you online shoppers, the customers shopping at the Outlet Stores have really started to switch from using the Pantry Jar candles to the new Homespun Jars. The sophisticated look of this jar really makes it a great candle to use with any decor - which also makes it great for gifts! If you typically burn the Pantry Jar candles, try a Homespun Jar on your next order and let us know what you think.

Also, I just wanted to remind you to check out the Fragrance of the Month selection. This month is Tuscan Vineyards - a fragrance a lot of you asked us to bring back - and it will not be around for much longer! Also, keep checking back for all of your favorite discontinued fragrances!

Welcome to the new blog for Swan Creek Candle online shoppers! With all of the great feedback that we've been getting via phone and email from all of you loyal Swan Creek online shoppers, we thought we would offer you a new way of sharing!

Let us know which fragrances you love, which fragrances you miss (a future possibility for the Fragrance of the Month!), and maybe even what you would like to see from our website in the future! Also, for those of you curious about fragrances that you haven't tried, this may be a great way to find out what your fellow shoppers have enjoyed.

I personally love the Thai Pear and Wild Meadows fragrances that we just introduced this Spring. The Thai Pear is oh so sweet and delicious, a perfect fragrance to fill the kitchen with the aroma of ripe summer fruit. And although I am not typically a floral person, I love Wild Meadows. I would definitely recommend trying out this scent.

And it looks like a lot of our Outlet Store shoppers feel the same way. I recently went to the Manager's Meeting at our Perry Michigan Outlet Store, and all of the managers mentioned that they were having a hard time keeping those fragrances on the shelves!
